Most sellers prefer cash, and it makes haggling much easier. Bring a mix of notes and coins for smaller purchases.

Car boot sales are all about the deal. Polite haggling is expected and welcomed — you might be surprised what you can get.

Our events are held outdoors in all weathers. Dress in layers and bring a waterproof just in case.

What time do buyers get in?
Buyers are admitted from 10am at most events. Check the individual event listing for exact times as these can vary.
How much does it cost to get in?
Normal Entry is £1 per adult. Some events offer early entry for an increased fee. Children under 15 are free. There are no other charges for buyers.
Is there parking?
Yes — free parking is available on site at all our venues.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are welcome at all our events, but they must be kept on a lead at all times.
What if it rains?
Our events go ahead in most weather conditions. We only cancel in extreme circumstances. Check our social media on the morning of the event for any last-minute updates.
Can I return something I've bought?
All sales at car boot sales are between private individuals — there is no returns policy. Please inspect items carefully before purchasing.
